This needs the ability to rename, delete, parent and tag pages, even if we're not on the same page that the action is being applied to.

Either a fixed or dynamic number of extra user groups are needed. Site members can be in more than one group at the same time, e.g. Simon is in the groups "site members" and "sponsors".
The site backup doesn't include as much information as it should!
I need to switch authors of two pages, so If I was able to edit who created the page(the author) I can do this. This should be an administrator feature.
I would like the ability to edit tags at the same time as editing page content, using Data Forms.

Of all of the wonderful things Wikidot offers, it lacks one very fundamental capability: file management.
Support for the following services would be great (even if it's just one or two of them):

Since it's not possible to delete pages using the Wikidot API, I wish there is an ability to delete an entire category within the Site Manager. This could be a fixed category (e.g. trash: or deleted:). This way, we'll be able to permanently delete a large quantity of pages - which is currently not possible.
The content for our wikidot instance is entirely vote-dependent, but we have the occasional user who deletes their account, or users who downvote everything they can out of spite just before they're banned.

The title is probably enough of a description, but to elaborate: We need something as powerful as the ListPages module that works for the existing, built-in Wikidot forum.

If this wish has already been posted here then I offer my apologies, a search yielded no matching content for this wish. I would love to see more features commonly found in popular forums such as:

I've had a couple of wishes rejected, with no explanation given. From certain comments, I rather get the sense that I'm not alone in this. It's especially frustrating when a wish garners support from the community, and is then rejected silently.

The inability of the search module to do anything other than basic searches still troubles me. There are many occasions when you won't want to do a search across the whole site but limit it to certain categories. So I would like to add a wish that the search module can accept parameters and limit the search to a specific category or several categories: [[module Search category=styles memberstyles]]. Given the power of categories in Wikidot, that you can't filter your searches (except my manually adding a filter in the search box) is a strange lack of functionality.
An almost universal feature of forums is the concept of read vs. unread topics. The groups and topics with posts that have not been read are highlighted in a different colour. Wikidot does not have this feature and requires the use of RSS, email or a page ordered by posting date. This is unwieldy and awkward. Wikidot should implement page status variables in ListPages, and a CSS class for the forum to allow pages and posts that have not been read, or which have unread children, to be highlighted.
If you use [[module NewPage...]] to create a new page, that works fine for ordinary pages but does not work when trying to create a live template page. For example, you enter user:_template but it creates a page called user:template. It strips out the leading underscore. The live template doesn't then work. This causes confusion for all users, particularly new users who are less likely to notice the error than those with more Wikidot experience. The confusion is made worse by the fact that the page title still shows the underscore.

I wish I could sort on multiple fields. For example, sort by Last Name then First Name.

Edit sections never works on any of my pages. Simple pages to complex pages, I never have isolated sections. The work-around creates a separate page for each paragraph of content and a link that goes to the edit section, but this has a number of issues.
