The debian stable version of iceweasel (aka firefox(TM)) as of 2014-11-10 is 31.2.0.
With all scripts enabled in the noscript plugin, I tried several times to type some words in the box above the "Submit a bug" button on http://feedback.wikidot.com/bugs:_all and click the button. Nothing happened apart from the button displaying a "pressed down" icon and then reverting to an "unpressed" icon.
However, with the free-software browser chromium 37.0.2062.120-1~deb7u1, the same actions led to a title "Create a new page" and an edit box with the usual wikidot editing icons.
Forcing people to always use "the most recent" browsers, especially for something as fundamental as bug reporting, seems to me unwise. Firefox/iceweasel is one of the most widely used browsers, and many people choose debian/stable out of preference for stability/security over latest cutting edge technology.
My suggestion: allow access to a wider community by including (at least) fallbacks for people with (moderately) older browsers.
Sorry, I had the same situation on my new firefox version - only the popup blocker was re-switched on … that was all.
I am not sure if wikidot on the host side can do anything to prevent such situatkon for a user with such a new version / setup of hie browser..
But on the other side - who am I to know exactly what the reason is for such behaviour.
I had the same problem in the _admin screens by promoting a member to an admin - the message window was too short on the window, i could not read it..
