It is suggested in the documentation that dataforms might be a good way to turn the wiki site into a sort of CMS, standardizing content layout across a category. That is great and the wiki field type is a perfect way to create textareas to input wiki code. However, if I have people who are resistant to things like learning wiki code, the Editor Panel (you know, those buttons you probably never use above each forum textarea) are important for getting buy-in to the site among people who are codephobic.
I think that the wiki field of the dataform should have a parameter “panel” to allow one to include the buttons on the dataform.
E.g.
[[form]]
fields:
Content:
label: Article Text
type: wiki
height: 20
editor: true
[[/form]]
The default for the panel parameter could be set to false so that already-existing wiki fields would not be affected unless the template creator initiates it.
