You already can access the Wikidot API with .NET - it's just XML-RPC.

Is this documented anywhere?
I took a stab at this a while ago and gave up mainly due to the fact that I could not get the XML-RPC library I found at http://www.xml-rpc.net/ to work for me. I was really struggling with the syntax.
It looks like you were part of the discussion where I was looking for some help. If I understood .NET better, I could probably help more.

I'd be happy to help in any way I can. I'm a pretty good .NET programmer, but I don't understand RPC calls from next Sunday and have limited XML experience.
Right now, I'm doing what I can by writing .NET code to read the backup zip files, but that only works for what's in the backup.
Ultimately, I'm interested in both analyzing the site — making lists of things with multiple tags, for instance — and in programatically updating pages.
I'm working on a .Net library for the Wikidot API. Should have it posted to GitHub in a few days.
