The http://feedback-example.wikidot.com site is an example site for the use of preventing users to see pages that are not created by themselves. Like feedback for example.
However if an admin wishes to show a list of pages to the person who created those pages a new variable is needed I think.
It is possible with the ListUsers module to get the username and number… But … It is not possible to put a ListPages module inside the ListUser module. I added an example page to the feedback-example site to show this: http://feedback-example.wikidot.com/test
So adding up these two…
A simple page variable %%current_user_name%% could be used to select pages in a ListPages module
+ Hello %%current_user_title%% (%%current_user_number%%)
[[listpages
category="private-to-all-except-creator"
created_by="%%current_user_name%%"]]
%%title_linked%%
[[/module]]
This would be very helpful in what I am trying to do as well.
Until then, you can get a similar effect manually like this:
In "home" page:
In "showpages" page:
It forces the user to click to see their pages, but it's a work-around until this feature is added.
Nevermind. Just saw that the same solution, except extended, has already been mentioned in the blog's comments.
This would be immensely helpful, I'm sad it doesn't have more votes!
