This wish has 2 parts and first came up in 2009 at http://community.wikidot.com/wishlist:62. It was raised again by Brunhilda at the community forum today at http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-510185/comments/show#post-1482177

The first part is to be able to schedule a page so that it publishes on a specific date in the future, something that is quite common for those who write blogs. So you could create a page on a draft: category but then switch it automatically to the blog: category on a specific date.

The second part is to be able to schedule when a page is no longer published but is switched automatically to an archive: category.. The use case for this is that on our village site at http://www.strathpeffervillage.org.uk we publish future events in a ListPages module on the homepage. When the date for that event has passed we use the set-tags button on the page to switch it to "completed" so it doesn't appear on the list of events anymore. To be able to schedule this automatically for a specific date would be very nice.
