This is a fantastic suggestion! I would end up renaming all of my pages, which would give me a huge SEO and usability boost. Two reasons to support this wish:
1. To get the best SEO results, I have to create long and complicated names in the title for each page. For example, this is my home page title: "Stock, ETF, Mutual Fund Research | SWOT, 5 Forces Analysis". Instead, I would like to put that in the title meta tag and change the home page title to "Home". Far better! This change helps my breadcrumbs to be more usable and greatly simplifies navigation around the website. It also allows me to make even crazier SEO titles to help my rankings.
2. My use of list pages stops me from making good SEO titles for many pages. See for example: http://www.wikiwealth.com/profile-people. In order for the list page module to work well, I can't use good SEO titles. Instead, I have this as my title: "Steve Jobs" versus a good SEO title of "Steve Jobs Profile, Biography, Highlights, Time Line… etc." There is absolutely no way to compete when I use bad SEO titles.
If you make this change, please also add functionality to the API and to the new page module.
Thank you, Dave
