Not sure exactly what you are asking for (templates for footers)? Please explain what you mean… so I can see the benefit & rate the wish up.

You can achieve the "back to top" part of your wish already though, using anchors.

As said so well by Timothy Foster:

Wikidot has a nice anchor called page-top that you can use. All you have to do is use the [#page-top Back to Top] syntax to go back to the top.

Although I haven't tested it, using this syntax in your site footer should work the same way it does as if you had added it to the main content.

This way we can use the List Pages Module and or List users module in the site footer, I tried to use that syntax but it doesn't work, I figured Wikidot left that out for a reason? Still would be easier to than update the site footer each time something is added to the site.

Also would there be a way to implement a JQuery easing effect to the scroll to top link?
