Can we add one more attribute or feature to ListPage module?
Allow the contents generated by the ListPage module to scroll up / down / left / right?
With Syntax, some thing Like this:-
[[module ListPages category="*" separate="no" limit="20" scroll="true" direction="up" scrollamount="2" stop="onmouseover" start="onmouseout" width="100" height="100"]]
%%title_linked%% - %%created_at%% - %%created_by%%
[[/module]]
This will allow to save a lot of real estate in a page though displaying more information.
Here the attributes scroll="true" direction="up" scrollamount="2" stop="onmouseover" start="onmouseout" width="100" height="100" (ignore values) are what I propose to add into the syntax. Some or all of them can be default, for example scrolling up, a certain value for scroll amount, stopping on mouse-over and starting on mouse-out can be default behavior. A certain width and height can be the default size.
All the wikidot developers need to do (i may be wrong) is to implement marquee code of basic html within the ListPage module code.
Same feature will be useful for ListUser, RecentPosts, MiniRecentThreads, MiniActiveThreads, MiniRecentPosts Modules as well.
You can already do this by just putting the listpages module into a div with the overflow and dimensions properties set how you want them. The overflow: auto will give you both vertical and horizontal scrollbars when they are needed. For example:

The idea is that it should scroll automatically, not manual scroll, like when using a marquee. Please see this link here:-

However your idea of using a div here is also useful to me. Thanks a lot for that.
I would still like to have marquee like feature as it adds a dynamism to the web-site. Now I could see it in many blog sites, like the one below:-

Marquees are so 1998! jquery does a much more slick job.

Agreed Rob, JQuery just works so slick, marquee's are way too glitchy, plus there's no challenge with a marquee, Check out my twitter scroller on the Icon Deposit, its in the footer. I purchased that code from codecanyon. I absolutely love Jquery.

Use any technology, my wish is for the feature and I don't care what technology you use to implement it. It is not necessary that it MUST be implemented using MARQUEE. If there is any better technology than MARQUEE for achieving the same results, use that.
