I'd give this a "-" if I could.

I guess this is not a good wish. Ok, scrap it. I make a better wish than that.
I hope you didn't take offense at my comment. It's just one guy's opinion. Personally, I find the popups related to infolinks very annoying and distracting. If I find sites that use them, I tend to navigate somewhere else to get the information I'm looking for.
Actually, I don't care if this wish is granted. I'd rather the limited development resources get used for other things first.

Not at all. However when it comes to infolinks, if you don't want popups and you're using either firefox or chrome, you can get the AdBlock Plus and have it installed on your browser. I wanted to have infolinks installed so I can earn more money other than using adsense.
Well I agree that those popups are pretty annoying and I wouldn't want them on my page but wikidot has gone out of their way to enable advertising and has suggested that people give ideas for new ways besides adsense. This is just one such way. There are many developments that get done that are highly technical and will be used by only a few select "tech" users, whereas, annoying as the infolinks may seem to me and others…more users would probably use this in the future than many of the other more obscure features that the average lay person would fail to even comprehend.
There is a sort of a "holier than thou" attitude, I've noticed, when it comes to advertising and so I doubt many people will make suggestions concerning new advertising because they don't want to be "judged". I think, given the explicit encouragement of wikidot about advertising that this wish is as valid and useful as anything else. Like Ed said, if you don't like infolinks you can navigate away. Or block them or whatever.
