Is this talking about the Wikidot toolbar at the top of the page?
Yes, it is.

I don't get this. What's wrong with the current Wikidot logo? And what's "wiki text" exactly?

I think the point of this is that some people have used CSS to change the toolbar from black-on-grey to white-on-dark, and the Wikidot logo no longer looks nice them.
Changing the toolbar is not really a supported option (tolerated but not something we're going to invest in), so I'm going to cancel this weneed. Sorry, Sue!

Fair enough. I've switched off my toolbar styling for now so it's back to default grey. As you say, the logo doesn't work with a light background.

Pieter, I suggest to think about the universal design of this toolbar. I think it can be much nicer, I mean, it is ok now, but it is pretty basic design. For example, you could put some much nicer font, give some shape and color to this site-name box, Share on + icons can be replaced by one joint icon, etc, etc… Maybe to make a new contest for the best wikidot toolbar design… People can vote for participants, and the most votes can get a Pro account, for example… Or whatever you want to give as a prize… Once the toolbar looks really nice, many people would't want to remove it even if they can… For example, I do like Wikidot logo, all of them, but especially those Squark made, that I put them on my site AFTER you gave me Pro account, and I will also put them to all future sites I make (and they are not TEST sites, since I don't count them to real sites :P)…

Yes, we did have the idea of a competition for a better toolbar design. It's a nice idea that we'll come back to. I find the toolbar useful, especially for navigating between sites.

Why don't you put the possibility to chose the logo? For Sue, if this one doesn't match, maybe one of Squark's could match… Maybe to do those logos in couple of different colors… Maybe to make it possible to choose the color…
