So essentially, you're saying that instead of just showing RSS feeds from other sites, you want to create pages for each feed result? I've never heard of that being done before, but can think of several uses, considering that they will then be available to the ListPages module.
Perhaps an extension to the feed module itself would suffice.

Correct. In combination with the ListPages module I can think of several interesting uses.
It would be important though that the links to the original content would stay intact. So that an exported rss-feed would reference the original site, not the created wikidot page.
The work-flow would be like that:
IMO the exported feed would be most useful linking back to the wikidot page — otherwise why bother creating the pages at all? ;-)
The page itself would then have a link back to the original article, and using live templates, the page content can be put into a quote box to indicate that it was quoted from somewhere else.
