Yes, please. For comments too. I know Wikidot is moving more towards the whole app/listpages style forum format, but many of us have been using the built-in forum for years, and there is no turning back. Pagination is necessary.
I could only agree if this option could be customised and/or disabled.
I agree too for this feature- and customization for it I think is a must. Those of us who still use the default forum shouldn't be forgotten!
Omnia mutantur, nihil interit.
This is going to be implemented. As first thing: pagination of "flat" threads — i.e. with no nesting allowed.

Does this mean that if we have structured our forums to allow nesting that the first implementation won't work?

Probably yes. Other possibility is the pagination will work for first-level comments only. We'll see what will be easier to do.

Murphy's law. The category I allow nesting in is the one I most need pagination in. But the pagination is more important than the nesting so I look forward to this. It is sorely needed in my forum.
The pagination will apply to first level comments. This means we have some profit also for forums with nesting allowed, just not much ;-). As first implementation, forums will display 10 top-level (and their all responses) per page. Later we'll limit the number of responses to show (with a link to load the rest if there's too many).

Pagination now work for forum threads and comments where there are more than 10 top-level posts. On each page, 10 top-level posts and all of their replies to are displayed.

There's a small problem now… when we use the Comments module with order="reverse", it doesn't work…

As we tested it, it worked. Could you provide a link to a page with non-working module?

The forum comments are not in reverse order.

Oh yes, the patch to make order="reverse" to work correctly was not applied eventually. Sorry, we'll fix this after the weekend.

It's not quiet fixed yet…
The strange thing is that they are both the same page… the site's root page IS /home.
