Since I now use page-based forums instead of the outdated built-in style, I have lost the ability to set certain users as forum moderators.

If I could specify someone to moderate the thread and post categories, that would give them moderation rights over the forum, but not the rest of the site. I would like to be able to do that.

There are also other categories that I would like to assign people to moderate, that are not related to the forum, but the most obvious use case is the one I listed above — moderators for page-based forums.

At the very least, support for assigning users to moderate the thread/post categories would be great. Support to choose from every category in my site would be even better.
