???
I think you misunderstand how the 'tag' data field type is supposed to work - that is… it adds tags to the page. (either that, or I misunderstood your post on that page).

Selecting by data form values allows website administrators to build a better UI for their users too :)
I'm looking forward to the more general-purpose UI updates though. Any idea when we might be able to see some ideas and/or designs (e.g. on the projects site)?

This is a critical piece of functionality which, having been accepted, I hope will be released shortly: dataforms are being used increasingly for databases with the results displayed via the ListPages module. For it to be an effective database it is crucial that we can sort on dataform values.

I would hope that this will be a priority feature after the new UI is released.

I would love, love this. I'm using wikidot for work functions and this would remove a lot of complications.
Amazing, this will be very very useful.

How much longer will it be until this is implemented?

I've had an exchange of emails this morning with the admin of a site I developed. They desperately need to list events in order - therefore having a dataform date field and sorting by dataform values. But entering events in the order they will occur, or manually changing pagenames to put events in order is not a viable solution. And it's also badly needed for listing events at a village website here and on so many other sites. It's nearly a year since it was accepted and now that the related dataform date field wish has been accepted is there any indication of a timescale for this?

I've sent you a PM to suggest a potential solution for this. Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Shane

Hi all, I'm also really needing this to be implemented. Last post was 25th of July, any new news on this?
