When you are working on a page especially with includes and other complex stuff, the page (due to caching a assume) does not get loaded as it should… therefore I wish to have a button in the options-buttons where I can force a total regeneration of the page. So ZERO use of caching.
possibly this "we need" covers the same wish so rate that one up also

Cache is something to do with the browser. There is nothing Wikidot can do to change the way a browser's cache behaves… that can only be done using the browser's settings menu.

Actually, I think you're talking about something else… have you tried pressing Ctrl+E to edit, then Ctrl+S to save, without changing anything ?

I have noticed that saving after no edit will not get saved… why would it… nothing changed. So I am aware of that… It's not the problem.
As far as I think stuff works at wikidot… I presume that when you save your wikidot code, their server parses it and generates static html-pages. So if you make a page in wikidot code (WDC) with an include, that include will be included in the static html-page. However if you make changes to the include WDC, this gets generated (pobably without any use, because those pages are not really viewed on their own), but the parent of this include (the page that used that include) will not get parsed… so it stays the old page… so there is my problem… I need to change something silly in the parentpage so that the new include will get rendered in this page…
Leiger if you go to google and look for server side caching you will be surprised to see that caching is not just something on my computer. But you knew this and maybe thought that I did not know. So in the future… GIVE IT TO ME…if I don't understand I'll ask again. :-)

It recompiles the page.
At first I thought that it wasn't recorded in the history at all, but I think I've seen the history record this, then auto-delete it from the list of changes about 5 minutes later as there was no source, title or tag change made. I could be wrong.
The point being, something didn't change, but something happened — the page was recompiled when you clicked on "save".
Well, I see a clear difference between a browser's cache and server-side caching ;) Originally I thought you meant the browser cache, then I thought that I might have initially misinterpreted what you wrote and I posted again.

weneed:77 is completely unrelated to this one.
Pages should be automatically recompiled when any dependency is changed but this happens asynchronously so can take a few second, or longer.
You can force a recompile by editing and inserting a space in the page but not at the start or end because Wikidot truncates whitespace when saving and does not save identical versions.
If you find a case where pages do not properly recompile, that is a bug. Editing and adding a space (or making any other non-significant change) is such an easy workaround (if you need the recompile instantly) that I'm closing this weneed.
