This is partially possible due to the ability to mail all members of a site.
But I'd still like to be able to manually add more than one recipient to my regular PMs. On many occasions I've had to send the same (or an extremely similar) message to up to 5 people at once, and so far need to do it manually.
Another alternative (for me at least, not sure about the other 8 voters) would be sending of PMs via the API. Messages would still be sent individually, but that can be done behind the scenes, re-using the same message contents for multiple recipients.
