Wish search currently down I am not sure if this is already suggested.
But I am surprised wikidot hasn't sitewide enforced a switch to https. I found an older blog post about having individual sub wiki's set it up but that was from 2015. Aside from that it's about time being 2022 along with the recent issues to improve everything as a whole. A big thanks of course goes to bringing up the site quickly.
Secondly, it won't be long before all the major browsers are having users view content on secured pages only. I only just found out that all of the major browsers now have that as a setting. Even the EFF are sunsetting their 'HTTPS Everywhere' extension early 2023 because of these changes.

Totally agree, it's weird that this has not generally been implemented, and only available for Pro-accounts
If you continue to demand that community sites have to pay to have a secure connection (SSL), all these community sites will fail in the end. Browsers today just will not put up with it. Firefox, for one major program) will not let me go to your insecure site.
