I think the problem is the underscore at the beginning of the username rather than anywhere else. Helmut has had no problem with the underscore in his username, but _nemed_ in the forum post linked to is a different matter as that starts with an underscore.

Thank you, it now works in links. But still does not work in [[user _nemed_]] module.

On the search screen the lst user http://www.wikidot.com/user:info/_nemed is the resulting user-name.. but this is really a hard situation!

Seems to be fully working now in [[*user ]] module as well. Thank you for fixing this!
