There is a painful bug which under Internet Explorer 10, affects:
- Wikidot's forum post multi-line text box
- Wikidot's new page multi-line text box
(but does NOT affect the "Short description of changes" multi-line text box)
The bug: The cursor jumps to unpredictable places in the text box when pressing [Enter] to create a new line. This only happens when the cursor is not in the last line of text.
To reproduce:
- Create a new page;
- In the page content, type in "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs.";
- Press [Enter] to create a new line;
- Type in "This is the last line.";
- Click anywhere in the first line to change the cursor's position (perhaps after the word "quick");
- Press [Enter] to create a new line.
You will now notice that the cursor is not at the start of the new line, and is somewhere else instead. Step 4 is actually not required to reproduce this bug.
Side note: Typing in [[code]] and then pressing [Enter] also places the cursor in an unexpected location, no matter if the cursor is in the last line of text or not.
Bump!
This bug is still annoying O_o
Looking into it.

The issue has been fixed now. No "cursor jumping" should happen in Internet Explorer 10.
