I tried to create the page "exaltationhistory:night56" and it gave me the "cannot process request error" when I click "Save"

A quick search seems to indicate that is the error message when a page name is over 128 characters, so this must not be that issue.

I tried to create a test called "Test" then rename it to "exaltationhistory:night56" and it gave me an error as well.

but "exaltationhistory:nightss" works fine
"exaltationhistory:night5" does not
"exaltationhistory:nigh56" works fine

somehow it seems the combination of "night" + number is preventing me fro saving the page.

Prior to this I have sucessfully made pages with that naming scheme.

the weird part is I can do this with "exaltationhistory:nighttwentyfour" and it works.
