The backup fuction is definitive not working… running and running an running.. i tested it on teh community with a new one, on omne of my private sites … no difference … no result.

Yes , lots of people are wating for this.
It looks like a greater problem to solve it. Ithink the "big move" (last blog) has created new , unexpected problems in the living environment and it is often hard to find a solution which will longer hold in the future.

Hate to bring this up, but two days ago I clicked the backup button and it's still 'processing' on my site. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Refresh status
I just ran 2 backups on different sites, one including files and one just for pages and both worked fine. This sounds like something is wacky with your site and the devs are going to have to do some digging for you.
