I put this all on the bug-list - there are some open issues since the move with different loading problems.
Some of them are written on the official blog and some on the community forum
- (File upload): http://blog.wikidot.com/blog:wikidot-moving/comments/show#post-1558014 looks like the "ndew" (!) Flash-version from adobe - which plug-in was renewied on my Firefix browser last days - works differently on different time zones . and amazon's zone's ? ? ( the old uploader works as Ed has written and detected.
- (different tabs) - different accounts logged in: http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-560038/comments/show#post-1558129 looks for me strange but could be there are ow different cookies on work?
- (themes-loading): People posted problems with WebBrand theme on their sites: http://community.wikidot.com/forum/t-560551/comments/show#post-1558074 looks like after changing to their local module CSS usage or local /admin:theme/code:1 this worked as awaiteed … but there are other strange ( bizzare) behaviours with theme as the last post from today mentioned.
Hope this helps to get attention to these problems from different posting places.
Helmuti, thanks for summarising the issues. We are right on it.

Not sure if this is even worth mentioning, and certainly not worth a separate bug report, so I'll place it here as well:
I uploaded a few images today after writing a blog post, and they seemed to take a lot longer than usual to appear on the page (even after refreshing cache). Going directly to the image URL (at wdfiles.com domain) claimed that the files did not exist, either.
Perhaps 2-3 minutes later the images appeared, but the delay was certainly longer than usual. Could potentially be the symptoms of a bigger problem?
Cheers,
Shane

The issue with "different accounts logged" was a result of mis-configured caching. It affected a few high-traffic sites with custom domains. Unfortunately some content for given URLs was being cached and shown to other users. This resulted in:
- what appeared to be "logged in as a different user"
- delayed page content refresh after e.g. page edit
- multiple redirections to get someone logged into a custom domain
This issue is now solved.
We could not trace any problems with loading themes. A few that we found were related to errors in themes at themes.wikidot.com which we have already corrected.
We are looking into uploading files. What I can tell now, since yesterday all the uploaded files are immediately uploaded to S3 storage and server from there. It might happen (and sometimes do) that after uploading a file to S3 the file is available with a short delay.
However, we have been uploading gigabytes of data since Tuesday and we have not experienced any issues. Including 70 MB PDFs.
Since we are so shortly after a major change, we are looking into each issue in a great detail.

For some strange reason, accessing uploaded .css files forces me to "save" it… I think that might be the issue around some of the CSS themes.
Try clicking on this… it forces me to "save" it: http://themes.wikidot.com/local--files/webbrand/css_webBrand.css

We are working on it. It's problem with file mime-types.

Tsangk, thanks x1000! It was the final piece of information we needed. Wrong mime type for a few CSS files. Fixed. Themes should be all right now.

No problem! Glad that the issue is finally resolved :)

Ok, CSS files are fixed, different account problem is fixed and it appears that file uploads are working fine. We've tested in with Windows and Mac OS X with Safari, Chrome and Firefox and the latest Flash plugin and couldn't reproduce the problem at all. If there will be still a problem with the file uploads, please create a new bug then.
