Using standard syntax makes "0" invisible when it's used as a subscript, bolded, or as teletype text — if it's formatted on its own.
I first noticed the problem when trying to type x with a subscript "0." The syntax //x//,,0,, didn't work, producing x0 , although other subscripts (including "00") did work.
Later I noticed the same problem while trying to bold "0" or set it in teletype text — always on its own and not part of a longer series of characters.
The workaround I found was to turn "0" into unparsed text:
//x//,,@@0@@,,
producing the desired x0.
A longer example is available at http://proofs.wikidot.com/sandbox-subscript-problem.
This bug has been fixed.

I don't remember seeing this in the changelog anywhere — so I only just noticed it now. Is every bug and feature that is fixed/implemented being included in the changelog over at the wikidot.com main site forum?
Perhaps another tag could be used to indicate whether or not something has been added to the changelog — so that nothing is forgotten.

leiger: we keep track of changelog in our internal issue tracker, so no need to duplicate this one here. If this fix was not added to changelog it could be solved as a side effect of fixing other bug.
