To whom it may concern,
Hi, I recently created a wiki to maintain my ever-growing library of D&D homebrew, and I've run into an irritating little error.
There are a number of pages that seem to be "invisible" to the search function. For example, I created a list of homebrew spells, helpfully titled "Spell List", and to ensure that it wasn't an orphaned link, I put it on the System page.
The System page comes up when I search System.
Spell List doesn't come up when I search "Spell List", or "Spell", or "List", or any of its contents.
To check to see if the title was a problem, I included, in plain text, the words "Spell List", without [[[]]], in the System page.
However, not even the System page, which contains the plain-text words "Spell List" in it, comes up.
A couple of other pages, and notably, all of the pages I've created thusfar, have this problem as well.
Sources of the bug:
- I switched themes to Flower Blossom, is it possible the bug was introduced during that switch?
- I started using page templates to speed up the creation of my spells. Now, my first template was just for spells, but my second template "Spell Types" has the wiki: tag in front of it. However, even when I rename the page to remove the "wiki:" tag, the page remains invisible. I tried searching, but couldn't find what the "wiki:" tag does. Could this be the error?
Thank you for your time, I hope this isn't an inconvenience.
Sorry, but this is more an error of the caching of the search function results…
Your last changes are not found by the "search" !
This is sometimes happening.
I would try a google search over your site… :)
