When I do a search on my site microchip.wikidot.com, _template pages show up in the search results even when I'm not logged in.
For example, search for "I2C" (a chip-to-chip communication protocol used in the semiconductor industry), and the page "i2c:_template" is at the top of the search results. I don't remember seeing this happen before and it is causing confusion among my site visitors who think it's a broken page.
It happens for all my categories, but "i2c" is the worst offender since it returns the template as the first search result.
Note to site admin: I originally submitted this under the title "_template pages included in search results", which made its page name "bug:_template-pages-included-in-search-results" which I think prevented it from showing in bug list due to the leading underscore in the page name.
You're right, these kinds of pages shouldn't show in search queries. In the meantime, you can probably reduce the priority of the page by removing "i2c" from the page title.

Yes, this is a big problem for me. I don't need visitors to see the man behind the curtain.
Followed Timothy's advice and removed the titles which I should have done long ago.
