Oh, I really dislike modules that don't work until the site admin does something magical… :-/

Is it properly being transferred in the cloned site? Maybe the problem is that the template either doesn't have rating enabled, or the cloning process doesn't properly transfer that setting.

OK, bug fixed & closed.

You used the wrong tag. According to what you've written in the sidebar, it should be _pushed, not _closed ?

My bad.

But the homepage still shows the _pushed bugs.

That's the point: when they are confirmed working, we close them and the disappear off that main list.

Okay… so if it is pushed, it needs two tags to be added, that is, _pushed AND _closed. Is that right?

Indeed, it's a two-step procedure:
- developer sets to _pushed when he thinks he has fixed the bug
- owner of the bug report should then test again and set to _closed when the fix is agreed
… as explained at point 5 on homepage

_pushed means "give it a whirl, let us know if you agree it works" and _closed means "done, take it off the list". We don't need both tags, just one and then hopefully the other.
Portfolio
Sorry but _closed means also _not_a_bug , then _closed.
Or chose another tag for the latter: _rejected
Or keep both tags _pushed and _closed.

So working backwards from requirements here…
Indeed, then we can use:
And then build a changelog from _pushed.
Nice thinking… :-)
Portfolio
The way I would do it is to have _open, _wip, _pushed and _rejected, but no _closed tag. pushed and rejected both hide the bug from the main list.
This might not be "hammer navigator standard", but it's more intuitive than having to set two tags for one action.
Edit: Hmmm… this discussion is probably better suited on the projects forums.

Yes, we are very much off thread here. However…
So patience and it'll all work nicely :-)
